The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, offered by Global RTC, is designed to develop advanced knowledge, understanding, and managerial skills for learners aiming to progress within the health and social care sector or continue to higher academic study.

Entry Requirements

This qualification is suitable for learners who are typically 18 years of age or above.

Applicants should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • GCE Advanced Level qualifications in three subjects or an equivalent qualification

  • Mature learners (21+) with relevant management or sector experience (subject to approval by Global RTC prior to enrolment)

English Language Requirement:

Equivalences

OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 5 are academically recognised as equivalent to Foundation Degrees, Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), and Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree, reflecting advanced practical and theoretical competence.

Qualification Structure

The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management consists of 6 mandatory units, with a total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
