Overview

The Level 3 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care offered by Global RTC is designed to provide learners with essential knowledge, practical competencies, and professional attitudes required to work confidently within adult health and social care environments.

This qualification prepares learners to understand real-world challenges faced in the care sector, including legal responsibilities, ethical decision-making, and meeting the diverse needs of individuals from different backgrounds. Entry Requirements

  • Learners must be 16 years of age or above.

  • There are no formal academic entry requirements, however Global RTC ensures that learners have the appropriate ability and readiness to successfully complete the programme.

  • Learners are recruited ethically and placed on qualifications that align with their learning needs and future progression goals.

English Language Requirement:

Equivalences

The OTHM Level 3 Diploma is recognised as academically equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels, representing a strong balance of practical skills, knowledge, and competence suitable for further study or employment.

Qualification Structure

The qualification consists of 60 credits, with a total of 600 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT). The recommended Guided Learning Hours (GLH) is a minimum of 300 hours.

To achieve a Pass, learners must provide sufficient evidence for each learning outcome. Assessors maintain a clear audit trail demonstrating how final assessment decisions are reached.
